Tindamax (tinidazole) is now approved for treating bacterial vaginosis (BV)...in addition to trichomoniasis.
It'll be an alternative to metronidazole or clindamycin.
Metronidazole is first-line for BV. Suggest oral metronidazole 500 mg BID for 1 week...or vaginal metronidazole once daily for 5 days.
