Forest is launching its new SSRI antidepressant, Lexapro.

Lexapro (escitalopram) is just the S-isomer of Celexa (citalopram). Celexa contains both the S-isomer and R-isomer.

The S-isomer is responsible for the antidepressant effects...and the R-isomer might contribute to some of the side effects.
