Pharmacists are being warned to watch for drug interactions with the new antiarrhythmic, Tikosyn (dofetilide).
Tikosyn is used to control atrial fibrillation or flutter.
But it can cause serious ventricular arrhythmias...especially if patients have poor renal function or take it with certain drugs.
