Lilly is now marketing Prozac Weekly, a new ONCE-A-WEEK fluoxetine capsule to prevent a recurrence of depression.
This works because fluoxetine has such a long half-life.
Prozac Weekly contains 90 mg of fluoxetine in delayed-release caps. The drug is released in the lower intestines to reduce GI upset.
