SSRIs seem to increase the risk of GI bleeding.

Patients taking SSRIs seem to have a 2 to 4 times higher risk of GI bleeding...similar to the risk seen with NSAIDs.

The risk is even higher when SSRIs and NSAIDs are combined... up to a 12-fold higher risk of GI bleeding.
