Putting pseudoephedrine (Sudafed, etc) behind the counter is making it harder for patients to get congestion relief.
Many OTC products have been reformulated with phenylephrine to curb access to pseudoephedrine...an ingredient used in "crystal meth" or methamphetamine labs.
Phenylephrine (Sudafed PE, etc) meds are in pharmacy aisles. Pseudoephedrine (Sudafed, etc) products are behind the counter.
