If you do order entry, you've probably seen drug interaction alerts for aspirin with NSAIDs (ibuprofen, naproxen, etc).
These often pop up for patients who take low-dose aspirin to prevent heart attacks...and get an NSAID for pain or inflammation.
The theory is that some NSAIDs might reduce aspirin's blood thinning effects...so heart attack risk could go up with this combo.
