a new "gliptin" for type 2 diabetes called Tradjenta (TRAD-gen-ta, linagliptin)
Reps will be promoting a new "gliptin" for type 2 diabetes called Tradjenta (TRAD-gen-ta, linagliptin).
Tradjenta is the latest "me too" drug to hit the market. Think of it as another Onglyza (saxagliptin) or Januvia (sitagliptin).
Tradjenta is almost the same as the others. It lowers blood sugar about the same as Januvia or Onglyza...and has similar side effects and risks.
