Myrbetriq (meer-BEH-trick, mirabegron) is the first med in a new drug class called "beta-3 agonists." It works by relaxing the bladder and increasing its capacity to hold more urine.

Think of Myrbetriq as an alternative to oxybutynin (Ditropan, etc), tolterodine (Detrol, etc), and other "antimuscarinics."
