Combivent Respimat (ipratropium/albuterol)
You'll see Combivent Respimat (ipratropium/albuterol)...a new version of Combivent without chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs).
The new device aerosolizes the drug withOUT a propellant. It is a "slow-moving mist" so it won't feel as powerful as the old CFC inhaler.
Combivent Respimat will be available this September...and the old Combivent with CFCs will be phased out next year.
