Mirvaso (mer-VAY-soe, brimonidine), a new topical gel used for treating rosacea
You'll soon see Mirvaso (mer-VAY-soe, brimonidine), a new topical gel used for treating rosacea.
Mirvaso works by constricting blood vessels...reducing facial redness. It'll be used alone or in combination with meds such as topical metronidazole (Metrogel, etc) or azelaic acid (Finacea, etc).
Use extra label space if needed to include all of the prescriber's instructions. A pea-size amount is applied once daily to five areas of the face...forehead, chin, nose, and each cheek.
