Watch for Commonly Used Meds and Supplements That May Increase Blood Pressure

Many common meds may increase blood pressure.

Some of the biggest culprits are NSAIDs (ibuprofen, etc), some SNRIs (venlafaxine, etc), estrogen contraceptives, stimulants, and decongestants. See our chart, Meds That Can Increase Blood Pressure, for more examples.

The good news is that most patients will not have significant BP changes...but some could see a bump.
