Siliq and Tremfya Will Be the Latest "Biologics" for Psoriasis

You'll hear about two new meds for plaque psoriasis...Siliq (sil-EEK, brodalumab) and Tremfya (trem-FYE-ah, guselkumab).
Think of them as similar to Humira, Stelara, and other injectable "biologics" for patients with moderate to severe psoriasis.
If you get an Rx for Siliq or Tremfya, watch for payer messaging. These meds may require a prior authorization or may need to be filled at a specialty pharmacy...partly because Siliq costs about $3,500/month and Tremfya costs about $5,000/month.
