Include Sublocade for Opioid Use Disorder in Patient Profiles

Sublocade (SUB-loh-kayd) will be the first once-monthly buprenorphine INJECTION for opioid use disorder.

Expect Sublocade to be saved for patients who are stable on a sublingual or buccal buprenorphine-containing product (Suboxone, etc) for at least a week...at doses equivalent to 8 to 24 mg/day.

Be aware that Sublocade will be available through certain specialty pharmacies...and it must be administered by a healthcare provider. Plus it costs $1,600/month.
