Look for Xepi, a New Topical Antibiotic for Impetigo

Xepi (ZEH-pee, ozenoxacin) will be a new Rx "quinolone" antibiotic cream for impetigo...the most common skin infection in kids ages 2 to 5.

But don't expect Xepi to be a fast mover.

There's no proof Xepi works better to heal lesions and prevent spread than other impetigo meds, such as mupirocin (Bactroban, etc).
