Lenacapavir (Yeztugo) will be the first TWICE-YEARLY injectable option for HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP).

It joins the oral, daily PrEP options emtricitabine/tenofovir DISOPROXIL fumarate (Truvada) and emtricitabine/tenofovir ALAFENAMIDE (Descovy)...and the every-two-month IM option, cabotegravir (Apretude).

Yeztugo comes in a kit with two 1.5 mL vials containing 463.5 mg each...to be injected subcutaneously in the abdomen or thigh.
