Knoll will soon be marketing a new ACE inhibitor, Mavik (trandolapril).

Think of it as similar to other long-acting ACE inhibitors...lisinopril, enalapril, etc.

For now, Mavik is only approved for treating hypertension. But it probably works as well as other ACE inhibitors for patients with heart failure or after a heart attack.
