This month Allergan is launching a new eye drop for glaucoma, Alphagan (brimonidine).
Alphagan is a selective alpha-2 agonist. It lowers intraocular pressure by reducing fluid production in the eye...and increasing its outflow.
Alphagan is chemically similar to Iopidine (apraclonidine).
