DDAVP (desmopressin) TABLETS for bed-wetting
Physicians can now prescribe DDAVP (desmopressin) TABLETS forbed-wetting...instead of the nasal spray.
DDAVP is a synthetic form of antidiuretic hormone...it causesthe kidneys to reabsorb fluid and reduce urine output.
The usual dose is 0.2 mg orally at bedtime...but it can beincreased to 0.6 mg if needed.
