Medicis is re-introducing Ovide lotion for head lice.

It was on the market several years ago, but was removed because of poor sales. The company is hoping for better luck this time...now that lice are becoming resistant to OTC pediculicides.

Ovide contains the pesticide malathion. It kills the lice AND their eggs.
