Optivar (azelastine), for itchy eyes due to allergies

There's now a new eyedrop called Optivar (azelastine), for itchy eyes due to allergies.

Azelastine is an antihistamine and mast cell stabilizer. It's the same drug that's in Astelin nasal spray.

Optivar is comparable to using Livostin (levocabastine)...Patanol (olopatadine)...or Zaditor (ketotifen).
