This stems from recent reports that Tequin (gatifloxacin) can cause SEVERE hypoglycemia when taken with oral diabetes meds...glyburide...glipizide...Prandin (repaglinide)...etc.

There are also a FEW cases of hypoglycemia in patients taking other quinolones...Cipro (ciprofloxacin)...Levaquin (levofloxacin)...
