Patients will soon be able to use Raptiva for psoriasis.

Raptiva (efalizumab) is a new biotech drug. It's an antibody that blocks T-cells that play a role in psoriasis.

It's similar to the psoriasis drug, Amevive (alefacept)... but each drug blocks different T-cell receptors.
