Pharmacists are having trouble stocking albuterol inhalers... both chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) AND hydrofluoroalkane (HFA) forms.

Fewer albuterol CFC inhalers are being made, now that they are due to be phased out by the end of 2008.

But production of albuterol HFA inhalers is not keeping up with the increasing demand.
