People are concerned about the safety of contact lens solutions...since ReNu with MoistureLoc was linked to fungal eye infections.
In the past, people with soft contacts had to use separate products...a cleaner, disinfectant, and saline for rinsing.
Multi-purpose solutions replace all three...but the cleaner and disinfectant can't be too strong or they will irritate the eye.
