Diabetes management will be a little easier for patients using Byetta (exenatide) or Humalog (insulin lispro).
Byetta pens can now be kept at room temperature for 30 days after they are used for the first time. Patients used to have to keep them refrigerated when not in use.
The formula hasn't changed...there are just new stability data.
