You'll see a new antihypertensive called Tekturna.

Tekturna (aliskiren) is the first direct renin inhibitor.

It works earlier in the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system than ACE inhibitors or ARBs...but it's too soon to tell if this will translate into improved outcomes.
