Treximet, a new sumatriptan (Imitrex) and naproxen (Naprosyn) combination tablet for migraines
Drug reps will be promoting Treximet, a new sumatriptan (Imitrex) and naproxen (Naprosyn) combination tablet for migraines.
The combo tablet makes sense for the company since generic sumatriptan will hit the market early next year.
The combo also makes sense for some patients. It can work better than a "triptan" like sumatriptan or an NSAID such as naproxen or ibuprofen (Advil, etc) alone to relieve migraines.
