There is still confusion about how much vitamin K is okay for patients taking warfarin (Coumadin, etc).
Warfarin is a blood thinner. Vitamin K acts opposite of warfarin and is sometimes used to reverse warfarin's effects.
Vitamin K is available as an Rx tab (phytonadione)...in multivits and supplements...and in foods (spinach, broccoli, mayonnaise, etc).
