We're getting questions about billing issues with ondansetron (Zofran, etc) Rxs.
This anti-nausea drug used to be considered a big gun...for nausea due to chemo or after surgery. But now that the tabs are generic and less expensive, older meds are falling out of favor.
More ondansetron is being used in adults AND kids...especially since promethazine (Phenergan, etc) is contraindicated in kids under 2.
