a new combo drug, Edarbyclor (eh-DAR-bih-clor), for treating high blood pressure
You'll see a new combo drug, Edarbyclor (eh-DAR-bih-clor), for treating high blood pressure.
Edarbyclor combines the same ingredient as Edarbi (azilsartan) plus the "water pill" chlorthalidone. Most other blood pressure combo drugs contain hydrochlorothiazide instead of chlorthalidone.
Edarbyclor is the first new combo containing chlorthalidone in 20 years. The only other blood pressure combos with chlorthalidone are Tenoretic (combo with atenolol) and Clorpres (combo with clonidine).
