The new Rx fish oil product, Vascepa (vas-EE-puh) will compete with Lovaza...for treating patients with very high triglycerides.

Vascepa (icosapent ethyl) contains only one omega-3, "EPA" (eicosapentaenoic acid)...instead of both "EPA" and "DHA" (docosahexaenoic acid) like Lovaza and most OTC fish oil supplements.

Don't expect Vascepa to fly off your shelves.
