It's applied to the affected nail like Penlac (ciclopirox)...but it penetrates the nail better and is more effective at killing fungus.
Expect Jublia to be used in patients with mild or moderate nail infections who can't take...or want to avoid...oral antifungals. Oral agents come with a laundry list of side effects and drug interactions that may outweigh their benefits.
