Overdoses. Some people follow the mantra "if one works, then two is better." This can get folks into trouble with some OTCs.
Stay alert for patients getting the same med from multiple sources. For instance, a patient can quickly exceed the max daily dose of ibuprofen if they take generic ibuprofen for a headache, Motrin PM for sleep, and Advil Cold & Sinus for congestion.
