Andexxa Will Be a New Reversal Agent for Bleeding Due to Eliquis or Xarelto

Andexxa (an-DEK-sah, inactivated recombinant factor Xa) will be a new IV med to reverse bleeding from Eliquis or Xarelto.

Until now, the only reversal agent for the direct oral anticoagulants was Praxbind (idarucizumab).

But it only reverses Pradaxa (dabigatran).
