Dovato (doh-VAH-toh) will be a new two-drug combo for HIV.

It combines 50 mg of dolutegravir (Tivicay) and 300 mg of lamivudine (Epivir) in a once-daily tab...and is a complete HIV regimen.

Dovato joins Juluca (dolutegravir/rilpivirine)...another two-med, one-pill complete regimen. But Juluca is only for certain patients who've taken HIV meds...Dovato is for those new to treatment.
