Updates to the iPLEDGE program will spur questions about how to handle isotretinoin Rxs (Amnesteem, Claravis, etc) for acne.
Pharmacies must still get a Risk Management Authorization (RMA) before dispensing isotretinoin...to verify that prescribers and patients are registered and requirements to prevent pregnancy are met.
But starting Dec 13, 2021, you'll no longer be able to get the RMA through your pharmacy's Rx claims processing system.
