Rx ensifentrine (Ohtuvayre) will be a new nebulized med for COPD.

It opens the airways and reduces inflammation in the lungs...to prevent flare-ups or worsening of COPD symptoms (coughing, wheezing, etc).

Expect ensifentrine to be saved for patients with severe COPD who still have exacerbations despite taking other daily meds, such as vilanterol/umeclidinium (Anoro) or formoterol/glycopyrrolate (Bevespi).
