The FDA just approved Trisenox, an injectable form of ARSENIC.

Trisenox (arsenic trioxide) is for second-line therapy of acute promyelocytic leukemia. It's very effective...up to 70% remission in patients who don't do well on standard chemotherapy.

Trisenox has an interesting origin. Scientists discovered arsenic was a common ingredient in some traditional Chinese remedies for leukemia.
