There's renewed interest in using glycopyrrolate (Robinul) for drooling.

This is a common problem for patients with cerebral palsy or other disabilities. It's usually treated with dental appliances, surgery, or anticholinergics (scopolamine, etc).

Glycopyrrolate is an anticholinergic with less serious CNS side effects than scopolamine.
