Inhaled albuterol is recommended for intermittent asthma. Lots of evidence shows it's safe during pregnancy.
Inhaled steroids are now recommended instead of cromolyn for mild persistent asthma. Inhaled steroids are more effective...and are also safe during pregnancy.
