You'll see a new Rx antihistamine called Xyzal (ZEYE-zol).
It's almost the same as Zyrtec (cetirizine). Actually it is the active part of Zyrtec called levocetirizine.
It'll be promoted by drug reps as faster and longer-lasting than other antihistamines...but this isn't significant for most patients.
