You'll see confusion over interaction alerts between oral potassium chloride (Micro-K, etc) and certain INHALED meds (Spiriva, etc).
Drug interaction alerts are common with potassium chloride and ORAL "anticholinergics"...oxybutynin, amitriptyline, etc.
Extended-release potassium can irritate the stomach lining. Anticholinergics can increase the time potassium pills sit in the stomach...increasing the risk for ulceration and bleeding.
