The FDA just approved Viramune (nevirapine)...the FIFTH new antiviral for HIV in just the last 6 months.

It'll be out early next month...from Boehringer Ingelheim.

Viramune is the first drug in a new class called non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors. It inhibits the same enzyme as AZT...but it works in a different way.
