The FDA just approved using Prozac (fluoxetine) for bulimia.
This is the first drug to be approved for this...but many physicians are already using Prozac and other SSRIs for bulimia and other eating disorders.
The SSRIs help reduce the frequency of bingeing and purging...but they usually don't control it entirely.
