You'll see a new IV antifungal, Mycamine (micafungin).

It's in the same class as Cancidas (caspofungin). These drugs inhibit cell wall synthesis in some yeast and fungi.

Mycamine will be used to TREAT esophageal candidiasis... and to PREVENT Candida infections in patients undergoing bone marrow transplants.
