Patients will be asking about Miralax (polyethylene glycol) now that it's being switched from Rx to OTC.
Rx Miralax will no longer be available. Suggest Glycolax or another generic if the patient's insurance will cover it.
But keep in mind that these Rx alternatives may go off the market...or not be covered...now that an OTC has been approved.
