Trimethobenzamide SUPPOSITORIES (Tigan) will go off the market...but the oral and injectable forms will stay.

Trimethobenzamide was one of those "unapproved" drugs that came on the market before proof of efficacy was required. Now the FDA is requiring efficacy data...or they will take these drugs off the market.

There's just not enough evidence the suppositories are effective.
