Trilipix (try-LIP-iks)
You'll start seeing Rxs for the new Trilipix (try-LIP-iks).
Trilipix is fenofibric acid...similar to fenofibrate (Tricor). Drugs in this "fibrate" class help treat some types of cholesterol.
There's no proof that Trilipix is better than Tricor...but it's the only fibrate APPROVED for use with a statin (simvastatin, etc).
