Techs are getting asked about bowel preps now that most of the OTC sodium phosphate solutions are off the shelves.
Sodium phosphate preps (Fleet Phospho-soda, etc) are inexpensive and easier to take than PEG solutions (GoLytely, etc).
The problem is sodium phosphate can cause kidney injury.
